Dr Fergal Harrington is a Digital Education Officer at University College Cork (UCC). With over a decade of experience teaching Physics and Mathematics at post-primary level in Ireland and New Zealand, he holds an Honours BSc in Physics and Education. Fergal's expertise in collaborative learning, which he explored through his PhD in Collaborative Learning and Cognitive Linguistics, informs his innovative approach to digital education. His academic accomplishments include receiving the Mary L. Thornton Award
from the National Universities of Ireland and the Early Researcher Award from the Education Studies Association of Ireland. In his current role, Fergal leverages his research and teaching experience to advance digital learning initiatives
at UCC.
