Plymouth University Hospital Trust started using Vevox as they needed a tool that would enable them to provide high-quality, engaging quizzes to a large audience remotely – with the added feature of automatically generated feedback.
Vevox was used by the Trust as part of a new virtual national teaching programme for undergraduate medical students in the United Kingdom. Toni Mihailidis, a member of the teaching team for the programme, pondered how they were going to be able to effectively engage a large group of students across the country and found Vevox to be a good solution.

“Vevox enabled us to offer questions to a large number of students remotely all over the country with an easy-to-use software. Students were able to answer the questions, no matter where in the country they were, and we were able to assess the overall performance of the group.
Feedback is generated immediately and provides useful information to the teachers to assess their teaching, for example by providing useful statistics on the proportion of students who had answered a question correctly.
Using Vevox quizzes to create engaging teaching sessions
