Vevox (formerly Meetoo), the real-time messaging and polling app for meetings and educational events, has formed a partnership with audience engagement specialist Crystal Interactive Meetings, that will see Crystal providing a comprehensive customer support service.
The Vevox platform, which can be downloaded onto any mobile device, has become a key player in the audience engagement technology market since its launch in 2014, with a strong take-up from clients subscribing on an annual licence basis for multiple events and large audiences.
Vevox Managing Director for corporate meetings and events, Robbie Vigers said: “Our clients have, up until now, been able to access our support resources and teams online or by phone or e-mail. Now, in partnering with Crystal, we’ll be able to offer them a more comprehensive range of service packages to suit their meeting type, environment or objectives. Crystal’s long-standing experience in audience engagement technology - together with their hands-on expertise in working with organisers, speakers and delegates, will take Vevox’s customer support service to a whole new level.”
Crystal Interactive Meetings Managing Director, Chris Elmitt said: “We’ll be able to enhance the quality of large meetings in any number of ways, from advising clients whether in-house Wi-Fi is sufficient, to helping to encourage more delegates to install Vevox pre-event, and ensuring that interactive sessions run smoothly, in the room, on the day.”
The Vevox app was designed to offer a simple, effective and affordable audience engagement tool, making it easy for speakers to create polls and publish them for delegates to vote immediately on their smartphones and tablets. Elmitt sees the support to be provided by Crystal Interactive Meetings as bridging the gap between a go-it-alone platform and a totally-supported service.
“Our collaboration with Vevox highlights the role that can be played by an expert service provider in optimising the performance of audience engagement tools,” he added. “As well as providing on-site technical support, we can help refine content to gain maximum value information exchange, and then assist in getting the largest possible number of delegates to engage with the interactive process. Crystal is ideally-placed to provide this service for a wide range of event tech companies and we see this very much as a natural extension to our offering.”
